Unless you are just curious. Annecdotally, I walked around 3cm and 70% effaced for over a week before going into labor on my own at 40w5d. A friend was 5cm for weeks! Lots of healthy babies are born at 36/37 weeks. Just be ready to ask questions and advocate for you and baby should you need to.

Today at 39 + 3 4 cm dilated cervix forward and “very thin” according to OB. But still nothing …. unfortunately doesn’t mean much. You can be that for weeks or be 0 and have them the next day.
