I currently own and regularly shoot both Benelli and Beretta shotguns and have owned many more of the latter over the years. Both companies make a very good shotgun. And, while I haven't shot either the Vinci or A400 yet, I have spent a good deal of time handling each and researching their reviews with the aim of eventually buying one.

The benelli shotguns are a little lighter in weight on average about 7lbs and the extrema on average weigh around 7.5lbs, so the weight differnce is that much really. both claim with there recoil reducing system they can reduce it by nearly half,and both are capable of taking heavy loads and 3.5 magnum 12G catridges.I have around 1000-1200 dollars to spend on a new shotgun for dove hunting.
