Identification: Tatarian honeysuckle is a multi-stemmed perennial shrub that grows up to 12’ tall and up to 10’ across. The branches are upright and arching with light brown bark, which is often shaggy and peeling in vertical strips on older plants. The mature stems have hollow centers (no pith).
