There are 11 hardwired alarms in my house and this is the second time that this has happened with this batch of alarms. I called First Alert support after the first false alarm about 6 months ago in my son's bedroom in the middle of the night and they told me to vacuum the fire alarms on a monthly basis to make sure there is no dust build up.
