The number has to be unique to that manufacturer, which means it's no problem for Fred to match the barrel as the number is unique to Fred. The engraving must meet ATF requirements.Aftermarket slides will have different tolerances than factory, this creates the spacing between the striker sear and the trigger bar, it isn't uncommon to see this type of fitment issue. Try a different trigger bar and see if it is better or bend the sear up on your trigger bar ever so slightly. It is hard to not end up snapping it off.
