They’re known to be hit or miss. This one is a polymer trigger and it is adjustable. I have not adjusted it from the factory setting. I predict the Staccato XC and Sandhawks will take over carry optics in IDPA. They could probably mod the artemis by cutting in a comp into the island signed section. That being said I am in the same boat and just plan on getting an athena because I can run it as an IDPA esp gun, carry optics, and uspsa limit optics without buying 3 guns.One of the newer brands in that market, Staccato, has already garnered the trust of more than 325 law enforcement agencies since its debut in 2019. They have just slightly more muzzle flip than the steel Staccato P. If this is a carry gun, I would vote for Aluminum. If for range and training, I would choose the Staccato P steel frame. For EDC, I settled on the Wilson Combat SFT9, which has a bit of a longer barrel but is a tad shorter and thinner (5.6 v. 5.25, and 1.3 v 1.1 grip width), which makes it more easily concealable for me.
