Anyway, so all I have to do is order the conversion kit for $120 and then a bare primer breech plug for $42 = $162 in a conversion kit (my disc uses the orange ones currently with 209s - that's how I bought it used). The 209 primer wedges into the breech plug that I have and you have to pry it out with a primer removal tool. I jumped on the 209 primer bandwagon back then and when BH209 came out, I started using it with good results. I have kept the charge to around 90gr with no adverse pressure problems.One more piece of advice for BH 209. Use hot primers. The 777 primers will not reliably ignite Blackhorn. I have had very good results with Winchester standard 209's and CCI Magnum 209 primers. Also the load needs to be compressed on the charge. Tight fitting sabots are the best.The second shot delivered a chunk of the 209 primer into my forehead. With a mirror and a thumbnail I was able to dig it out. And that was the last BlackHorn I ever shot out of a plunger style rifle. I still shoot BlackHorn 209 out of my Genesis and my Knight Disc with excellent results.. now that I went to a very hot primer.It's also well documented that the Knight bare primer guns have had problems with CCI magnum primers sticking in the plug and or the bolt due to blowback and possible headspace issues. ...
