I got my diamond whitetail the other day near the first lookout you unlock, look towards the track and they had a feeding spot, I also got an albino in the same spot. try the lakes on the east side of the map lots of elk and blacktail there. also make sure you’re hunting during the drink time which is 5-9:30 for both of them. The Layton missions are OG to this game, but that being said, Layton and Hirch are also probably the least rewarding of the buncha maps as well Imo. Layton Lakes is an amazing map and since the June 28, 2022 update, everything has changed! All new ZONE TIMES, all new HOTSPOTS so we need an ALL NEW GUIDE!... It is a tuff-ee mission.
