Maytag bravos xl washer not turning on

The Bravos XL is the first set of brand new washer and dryer I've ever had in 30 plus years of doing laundry. For the most part, I am happy with them. The one thing that probably would have changed my decision into getting something else is the lint trap on the dryer. It is the worst design I have ever seen.
