The Beretta 1301 is so much better than the Mossberg 940. Consider a benelli m2. I shoot lots of 3gun with it, and take it waterfowl and upland hunting (minus the mag tube of course). Lots of aftermarket support, only minor tweaks needed to get it 100% ready for 3 gun. 1301.
