I got a 517 on mcat and 260 on step 1. Imo mcat was harder to prep for and more variable because of stuff like cars. Step 1 if you just do anki and uworld you're fine and all your first 2 years is dedicated to prepping for the exam while with the mcat youre balancing it on top of classes not related to medicine. 8.

They're detailed without being overdone. The notebook and flashcard features are very handy. The options for test-making are flexible, so you can really tailor the question blocks to your needs. 10/10 times I'd choose UWorld for studying for any big exam. There's no comparison., I think UWorld is way better but honestly neither are exactly like AAMC. UWorld for the next 30 days, AAMC CARS for the last 30 days. I've finished UW cars and found it more consistent, although more difficult. JW is good but there's a lot more variation. Some are too hard/convoluted, some are too straight forward.
