Simplisafe keypad not working

My keypad stops working every couple days. I have to take out the batteries, wait 3 minutes, then reinstall them, however the issue still happens every couple days. Called customer service and they want me to call back when it stops working again which is kind of ridiculous. Anyone have a permanent solution to this? thanks
