Why are motorola phones so bad

Recently got a Moto G Play 2023 and it was 4G wifi. Not only that but it freezes multiple times, is exceedingly slow and lags apps. Plus, fuckload of glitchy hardware, shit responsiveness, the updates over time only seem to add negative features. I don't need much out of a phone but this one really irks me.
